Breakfast/brunch is pretty good. Corned beef hash is homemade and excellent. No drink specials, like unlimited mimosas, but drinks are reasonably priced. Great place to eat!

Great brunch place, the food is consistently good. One star off for the slow service. Also expect a long wait (if you don't get there before they open for brunch) as the place is small.

This is my favorite wine spot in Forest Hills, and really all of Central Queens. It's a lovely, cozy space, with bartenders and servers who are attentive and friendly to all. And it's the perfect place to go for a drink even on a Friday or Saturday night after 11, when most bars are packed. By then they've stopped serving food, and it's quiet and not at all crowded. Sometimes I go a little earlier, so I can have one of their salads or a cheese plate or the mac and cheese. The one entree I tried was on the bland side. The desserts are good. A great place to go after an 8-10 o'clock movie.

Had a wonderful, affordable brunch here! Definitely try the French Toast — it was warm and tasty with each bite. Also grabbed a mimosa and a hearty side of hash browns. We were a group of 4 at 2 pm on a Saturday; there was only room at the bar, which was fine by us, but make sure to have a scarf in the colder weather for when the door opens and closes. Would love to go back!

Jack and Nellie's have a choice of affordable brunch offerings! Our party shared a large french press coffee and a side of their candied slab bacon which was unfortunately burnt on one side. Burnt caramelized anything doesn't taste great. I had ordered the corned beef hash which was paired with some toast and poached eggs. While my wife ordered the steak and eggs. The steak lacked a little salt for me, and the same goes for the fries that came with it. Overall, the service was good. They came pretty quickly, but we were also seated at the bar, which was convenient.
